2.5 per cent increases in each year of contract: IAM
Members of International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), Local 2332 ratified a new collective agreement with Highland Ford on July 10.
The multi-year agreement provides wage increases of 2.5 per cent in each year said the union.
Other agreement highlights include, two per cent increases in pension contributions over the life of the agreement, improved vision care benefits and improved life insurance benefits, said IAM.
The 26 employees include mechanics, body-shop personnel, parts personnel, office staff, quick-lube personnel and service writers.
