Three-year contract to be presented to CUPE members by end of month
Air Georgian reached a tentative deal for a new collective agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), Local 4059, that represents about 83 flight attendants at Air Georgian’s Toronto base on Oct. 2.
The agreement will be presented to union members for approval before the end of October. Once ratified the new deal will be effective for three years, said the company.
“I am pleased that a tentative agreement has been reached,” said Eric Edmondson, Air Georgian president and CEO. “I would like to acknowledge the hard work and goodwill that all parties invested in this process to ensure our collective growth and success.”
