Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2019. Signed on July 5, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 1%
Effective July 1, 2016: 1%

Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2.1%

Shift premium: Coaching of recruit: $400. $250 per year for employees who maintain following designations: Intoxilyzer technician, canine officer, emergency response team member, use-of-force trainer, negotiator, drug recognition trainer, drug recognition officer, scene-of-crime officer, fitness appraiser, radar/Lidar trainer, Glock armourist, collision reconstruction level 4. 
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 80 hours after 1 year, 120 hours after 3 years, 160 hours after 10 years, 200 hours after 15 years, 240 hours after 20 years, 280 hours after 25 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours past regular tour. 
Meal allowance: $13 when working more than 3 hours’ overtime. Additional $13 for subsequent 4 hours.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of Ontario Employer Health Tax.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $500 for full dentures or partial plates every 36 months. Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for orthodontics, maximum $3,000 lifetime; major restorative including crowns, bridges, maximum of $800 per person per year
Vision: $400 every 24 months. $100 every 24 months for eye examinations.
Paramedical: Registered masseur, speech pathologist, chiropractor, osteopath, chiropodist, podiatrist, naturopath, nutrition counselling, physiotherapy: Maximum $600 per person per year (previously $550 per person per year). For X-rays by chiropractor: $50 per person per year. Psychologist, psychotherapist, registered social worker: Maximum $800 per person per year.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% for coverage of 2 times’ annual salary.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% for coverage of 2 times’ annual salary.
Pension: OMERS plan. Employer pays 50% of cost, employee pays 50% of cost.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, same-sex spouse, common-law spouse, son, daughter, father, mother. 3 days for death of sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren. 1 day for death of aunts, uncles, grandparents-in-law.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay, time and one-half after first hour.
Uniforms/clothing: Plainclothes reimbursement: $1,100 per year, paid quarterly. Cleaning: Employer will pay for cleaning of 60 items of clothing, per employee assigned to plainclothes duties and 48 items of uniform clothing per employee assigned to uniform duties, except for winter coats or top coats. Employer will pay for cleaning resulting from mishaps in line of duty. Employer will pay for cleaning of winter coats or top coats twice per year for each employee.
Sample rates of annual pay (current, after 7.5% increase):
First-class PC: $93,516 rising 4 steps to $100,527
Following formula will be used to calculate salaries of all other ranks, by using first-class constable rate as 100%
Fourth-class constable group 2: 60%
Fourth-class constable group 1: 65%
Third-class constable: 80%
Second-class constable: 90%
First-class constable: 100%
Sergeant: 113%
Staff sergeant: 125%
Editor’s notes: Hearing aid: $400 lifetime maximum. Training days: Employees will be required to attend 4 8-hour training days per year plus additional 8 hours of training. Special allowances: $50 per week for employees attending any course or seminar when required to stay overnight; $10 per day over and above meal costs. SIU legal costs: Employees who become subject officer in Special Investigations Unit investigation will receive maximum $5,000 for legal costs. Senior member responsibility incentive: Employees with 8 or more years of service will receive extra 3% of first-class constable salary. Employees with 17 or more years of service will receive extra 6% of first-class constable salary. Employees with 23 or more years of service will receive extra 9% of first-class constable salary.
