Shift premium: Training premiums: $5,000 per year added to salary; line indoctrination: $50 per day; line checks: $50 per day. 105% of current pay for pilots who qualify for multi-type pay (captains, first officers who are qualified to fly 2 types of company aircraft and are requested to fly multi-type aircraft). $43 per day for flight crew member who is away from home base for entire day. $35 per day for flight crew member who is flying medevac. $25 per night for approved private accommodations. $100 per captain, $50 per first officer for flight crew members who work overnight run and who upon return to base enter into guaranteed day off.
Paid holidays: In lieu of statutory holidays, employees may bid 10 additional days of vacation per year (pro-rated for employees with less than 1 year of service).
Vacations with pay: 10 days after 1 year, 12 days after 3 years, 15 days after 5 years, 20 days after 20 years.
Overtime: 1.5 times per hour for any excess flying over 84 hours paid on every second pay period. 1.5 times per hour for work on guaranteed day off.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Vision: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
LTD: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Pension: Employer will maintain RSP program for all flight crew members at 50/50 cost sharing basis.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (parent, spouse, common-law spouse, child, brother, sister, step-relatives). 3 days for death of mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparent, grandchild.
Probationary period: 180 calendar days after pilot has flown first revenue flight (may be extended further 90 days).
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months for records of disciplinary action, standard operating procedures, safety, behaviour.
Safety shoes: Employer, employee will share costs of shoes on 50/50 basis. Employer will reimburse employee $140 every 12 months for shoes; additional $210 every 24 months for boots.
Uniforms/clothing: Pilots will be given 1 sweater; 1 winter jacket; 1 lightweight jacket; 1 rain jacket; 1 pair of black boots, all replaced every 24 months. Pilots will also be given 3 dress pants; 5 dress shirts; 2 ties; 1 belt; 1 pair of black shoes, all replaced every 12 months. Pilots will receive 1 pair of epaulettes, replaced as needed; 1 reflective vest, replaced as needed; 1 lanyard, replaced as needed; 1 toque, replaced as needed.
Mileage: $0.32 per kilometre for flight crew member who uses own vehicle while on company business

Editor’s notes: Guaranteed days off: 0 to 12 months, minimum 10 days per year; 13 to 36 months, minimum of 11 days per year; 37 to 60 months, minimum 12 days per year; more than 60 months, minimum 14 days per year. Meal per diems: $15 for half-day pairing (less than 5 hours); $30 for single-day pairing (more than 5 hours); $35 for cargo flight crew member; $60 for new hires who are in ground school/simulator out of base. Charter per diems: $10 for breakfast; $13 for lunch; $20 for dinner. Medical: $100 for costs associated with medical examinations; documents required to maintain category 1 medical. Tuition refund program: Flight crew members will be reimbursed 50% of costs related to tuition and books maximum $750 per year. Personal days: On Jan. 1, flight crew member will be entitled to earn 4 personal days off per year (3 in first quarter; 1 in last quarter of year).
