Coffee chain's services to be overseen by Convergys
Starbucks Coffee Company is outsourcing a number of its HR processes through a multi-year agreement with Convergys of Cincinnati.
The management-consulting services provider will oversee payroll and HR administration for the coffee chain in the United States and Canada, as well as take over benefits administration for Starbucks employees in Canada.
“We needed to find a HR service provider that both shared our vision and values and had a commitment to customer service that was as strong as our own,” said Dave Pace, executive vice president of Partner Resources at Starbucks, which has 145,000 employees globally.
“In Convergys we found both of those qualities, as well as a provider who can provide flexible, reliable and scalable services to help us as we continue to grow.”
