Positive work environment, career opportunities among engagement drivers
Ten organizations have made it on Hewitt's first-ever Best Employers in the Middle East list.
The study, based on interviews with more than 150,000 employees in the region, found HR in Best Employer organizations plays the role of an expert people administrator and strategic partner.
Employers on the list are also better at career development, delivering on the employment promise, work assignments and performance management.
The study also found these employers provide better benefits, make better investments in employee development and are better at making employees feel valued.
The research also highlighted the top four drivers of employee engagement in the Middle East:
1. Creating a positive work environment through HR policies and practices.
2. Fulfilling career aspirations of employees.
3. Providing future career opportunities to employees.
4. Delivering on the employment brand promise.
