Largest failure of a law firm in Canadian history
Law firm Heenan Blaikie has decided to shut down operations.
In a post on Canadian Lawyer's Legal Feeds blog, Jennifer Brown said partners voted to shut down the firm. It's the largest failure of a law firm in Canadian history, she wrote.
In a press release, the firm said the decision "follows an in-depth analysis of the available restructuring options in the current context of Canada's legal service market."
