Canadian HR Reporter asks readers what they think about the various HR designations
Canadian HR Reporter is surveying its readers to find out what they think about the various designations available to HR professionals.
The most well-known professional designation for HR in Canada is the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). But there are many other designations, including the Certified Compensation Professional (CGP), the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and the Global Remuneration Professional (GRS).
As part of a special feature in the Sept. 11 issue, Canadian HR Reporter will be taking a critical look at these and other designations to find out how valuable they are for a career in HR.
The reader survey will play a big part in examining how HR professionals view the designations. The HR Professional Development Survey 2006 consists of nine questions and takes about five minutes to complete.
Individual responses will remain confidential. The survey will be available online until Aug. 10. Click here to begin.
