Winners of the first annual Employer of Choice Marketing Awards
HR professionals from across the country gathered in Toronto on March 21 to honour the best marketing strategies by employers in their efforts to attract and retain potential and current employees at the first annual Employer of Choice Marketing Awards (ECMAs), put on by working.com.
“Canada’s top employers are quickly recognizing that employment branding gets them the talent they seek,” said Susan Hayes, general manager of working.com. “The working.com ECMAs allow us to shine a spotlight on the real success in this growing creative arena and the true power behind employment marketing.”
The ECMAs were created to “promote the emerging efforts of Canadian organizations to include effective marketing as a leading component in their recruitment strategies. These organizations strive to develop creative branding solutions that capture the essence of their organization, generate a strong first impression and help them attract, hire and retain the right employees,” said a press release issued by working.com.
