HR benefits representative
York Region District School Board in Aurora, Ont. is looking for an HR benefits representative who will liaise, investigate and assist in the administration of the Employee Life and Health Trust (ELHT) and the Board’s benefit plans, and problem solve queries from plan members regarding their benefits. The representative will review, analyze, validate employee data and submit to various administrators of ELHT, as required; investigate and respond to the ELHT administrators regarding employee data discrepancy; and maintain and update a library of the ELHT benefit plans and associated databases. Human resources generalist
The Yukon government is looking for a human resources generalist who will provide human resources, employee and labour relations support functions for various programs, services and initiatives. The generalist will consult with supervisors, staff and benefit carriers regarding human resources matters; provide input into relevant programs, policies and procedures; and oversee disability programs, including facilitating return to work and accommodation. Candidates must have a degree in HR or business administration with a major in HR or labour relations, a CPHR designation or at least in the final stages of achieving CPHR designation and three years of related experience in a computerized environment dealing with various employment contracts plus one year on the job training. Athabasca University in Alberta is looking for an HR client associate who will assist the HR client partner in areas such as recruitment, employee relations and promotion applications. The associate will be responsible for job postings, calendar scheduling, shortlists, interviews, reference checks and onboarding, and will be actively involved in other HR functions. Human resources assistant
Chandos in Edmonton is looking for a human resources assistant who will assist with the implementation of policies and procedures, recruitment, orientation, training and development, and other areas as directed. The assistant will coordinate all on-boarding documentation and conduct orientation for new hires in all locations; maintain electronic employee files; and process off-boarding tasks, such as system deactivations and exit interviews.
