Manager of employee relations
Translink in Lower Mainland, B.C. is looking for a manager of employee relations who will implement and manage the delivery of enterprise and employee relations functions and services, including the delivery of HR advisory services and support to all levels of management and staff. The manager will manage the labour relations function and oversee the education of business leaders on all related matters; manage the corporate wellness program; and provide advice to management regarding exempt terminations and direct and/or personally negotiate exempt severance packages. Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Services in Whitby, Ont. is looking for a human resources consultant who will provide consultation or advice to assigned departments on a variety of HR matters, including employee and labour relations, collective agreement interpretation and attendance and disability management. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a recognized HR program plus at least two years of progressive, generalist HR experience working in a unionized environment, or equivalent combination of education and work experience in progressive human resources environment.
