Cuts came in manufacturing, education, trade sectors
OTTAWA (Reuters) — Canada shed 7,100 jobs in December, driven by cuts in the manufacturing, education and trade sectors, according to a report from ADP released on Thursday.
The November total of jobs added was also revised down to 58,800 from 59,200, ADP said in the report, which is jointly developed with Moody's Analytics and is derived from ADP's payrolls data of about 40,000 companies.
