New deal will affect 31 employees
A tentative settlement on a new collective agreement for workers at Woodstock Public Library was reached on Sept. 19, averting a strike.
Teams negotiating for Local 1146 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and the library board agreed the deal.
The union will not disclose details of the tentative settlement until the 31 Woodstock library workers have had the opportunity to review its contents and vote on the agreement.
