Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2015, to March 30, 2018.
Wage adjustments:
Signing bonus: $500.
Effective April 1, 2012: 6%
Effective April 1, 2013: 3%
Effective April 1, 2014: 3%
Shift premium: $3.25 per hour on weekends. $5 per hour for night shifts.
Vacations with pay: 12 days after 1 year, 16 days after 2 years, 20 days after 10 years.
Overtime: Double time.
Medical benefits: 100% reimbursed under extended health care.
Dental: 100% for basic and diagnostic services. 50% for major restorative and orthodontics. Maximum $1,500 per year, $1,600 lifetime maximum for orthodontics.
Weekly indemnity: 66.67%
Sick leave: 1 day per month, up to a maximum credit of 36 days, up from 25 days. Based on a 12-hour work day.
STD: 100%.
LTD: 66.67% following 90 day elimination period.
AD&D: 2 times annual earnings, up to $350,000.
Life insurance: $10,000 for spouse, $5,000 for dependent children.
Bereavement leave: 7 days for immediate family members.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Call-in pay: Double time.
Probationary period: 1,095 hours.
Severance: 2 weeks' regular pay for each full year of employment up to 40 weeks pay.
Uniforms/clothing: 4 blue shirts, 2 pants, 1 patrol coat, 1 winter parka, crests as required, 1 white dress shirt and tie, 1 pair of gloves, 1 winter hat, 1 pair of boots, 1 rain coat, 4 T-shirts, 1 sweater issued at time of hire.

Paramedic: $37.47 per hour
Ambulance: $29.80
Emergency medical dispatcher I: $28.29
Emergency medical dispatcher II: $29.80
