Shift premium: Time and one-half for all hours worked during weekend shift. $1.70 per hour for all time worked during evening shift. $1.70 per hour for all time worked during night shift.
Paid holidays: 10 days and 2 floating holidays.
Vacations with pay: 1 1/4 days per month worked to start, 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 2 years, 5 weeks after 14 years and 6 weeks after 21 years.
Meal allowance: $10 after 3 hours of overtime.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for the Extended Health Care plan (including semi-private). $600 every 3 years for hearing aid coverage. $7.50 dispensing fee cap per prescription.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 50% coverage of major restorative treatments to a lifetime maximum of $3,000. 50% coverage of orthodontic services to a lifetime maximum of $1,5000.
Vision: $250 every 2 years. Benefit may be used for eye exams and laser surgery.
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums. LTD pays 70% of employee’s normal salary.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premium. Benefit equal to 2 times employee’s annual earnings to the nearest $1,000 that is higher.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s spouse, parent, child or stepchild. 3 days for employee’s father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, legal guardian, grandparent or grandchild.
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at time and one-half.
Probationary period: 825 hours worked.
Mileage: 49¢ per km.
