Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2023. Signed on Aug. 21, 2018.
Shift premium: $75 when employee is sent out as driver-trainer.
Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years. All vacation accrual will be paid out if employee is laid off or terminated.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, plus $55 per month for Prairie Teamsters Health and Welfare Plan (cost of plan is $370 per month). Employer will pay 50% of any monthly increase, maximum $5 per month.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, children, parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, grandchildren).
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Probationary period: 90 calendar days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for written reprimands or warning letters, 12 months for all other violations.
Safety shoes: $175 per year for CSA-approved safety boots.

Medical exams: After 1 year of service, employee will be reimbursed cost of medical examination as requirement for maintaining class 1 Alberta vehicle operator’s license. Teamsters industry advancement fund: Employer will contribute $8 per month per employee to union/industry advancement fund.
