Wage adjustments:

Shift premium: $0.50 per hour for all hours spent by any employee (other than a lead hand or journey person) training another employee. $0.75 per hour (previously $0.50 per hour) for all hours worked after 11 p.m. Effective Feb. 1, 2017: $1 per hour.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 day for every 25 days worked, maximum 10 days to start; 1 day for every 16 2/3 days worked, maximum 15 days after 3 years; 1 day for every 12 1/2 days worked, maximum 20 days after 9 years; 1 day for every 10 days worked, maximum 25 days after 20 years; 1 day for every 8 1/2 days worked, maximum 30 days after 30 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after regular hours. May be banked, maximum 40 hours per year.
Medical benefits: Employer pays for 100% of premium. $25 deductible for single or family coverage.
Dental: Employer pays for 100% of premium. 100% coverage for routine treatment, 50% coverage for major treatment, maximum $1,400 per year. $25 deductible for single or family coverage.
Vision: Employer pays for 100% of premium. $350 every 24 months, per employee or dependant.
Paramedical: Maximum $1,200 per year (previously $1,100 per year) combined coverage.
Weekly indemnity: Employer pays for 100% of premium. 70% of regular weekly earnings, maximum 26 weeks, maximum $485 per week (previously $475 per week).
Sick leave: 1 hour for every 81 hours worked, maximum 24 hours.
AD&D: Employer pays for 100% of premium. $60,000 coverage.
Life insurance: Employer pays for 100% of premium. $60,000 coverage.
Pension: Fairmont Hotels Pension Plan. Employer and employee contribute 3.2% per year, up to maximum 5%.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex spouse, child, stepchild, parent). 3 days for death in other family (brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren, stepparent).
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 3 months.
Safety shoes: $85 per year (previously $65 per year) reimbursement. Additional $55 per year for all grounds workers to purchase winter boots. Effective Feb. 1, 2017: $65.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply all uniforms, including winter wear. Valet and laundry service will be provided by the hotel.
Tool allowance: $100 per year.
