Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2019. Ratified on June 19, 2017. Signed on Sept. 7, 2017.
Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 2.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2.5%
Effective July 1, 2018: 0.5%

Shift premium: $1.50 per hour for employees designated to train new employees.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 17 years, 6 weeks after 26 years. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 6 weeks after 24 years.
Overtime: Minimum 2 hours’ pay when employees called out after work day. Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Double time after first 2 hours worked. May be banked, maximum 37.5 hours.
Meal allowance: Meals will be paid as per current City of Lethbridge per diem rates for charters of 6 hours or more.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for core extended health care. Employee pays 100% of premiums for Alberta Health Care.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
AD&D: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, son, daughter, spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandfather, grandmother, legal guardians, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandfather-in-law, grandmother-in-law, stepfather, stepmother, stepchild). Additional 2 days for travel.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours for first call-in of day and 1 1/2 hours' pay for each call-in thereafter.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Safety shoes: $100 per year.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide to Access-A-Ride operators and dispatchers: 4 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of shorts, 5 shirts (employee may select long-sleeve, short-sleeve, golf shirts), 1 sweater, 1 3-season jacket, 1 rain jacket, 1 baseball cap (employee option), 1 toque (employee option), 1 pair of gloves (approved by management). Pregnant female employees will be provided with maximum $200 towards purchase of maternity uniform clothing of appropriate style and colour.
