Wage adjustments:

Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 10 hours per month to start, 13.33 hours per month after 9 years, 16.66 hours per month after 15 years, 20 hours per month after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked after 40 hours per week. Time can be banked, maximum 160 hours.
Meal allowance: $20 for working more than 3 hours of overtime. $20 for every 8-hour period thereafter.
Sick leave: 10 hours per month.
Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, foster parent, brother, sister, spouse, common-law spouse, person living with the employee including child, children of common-law spouse, child, stepchild, ward of the employee, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandchild, relative residing in the employee’s household). 1 day for death in extended family (grandparent, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law). 3 additional days for travel.
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years.
Call-in pay: Minimum 6 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 12 months.
Severance: First layoff: 2 weeks’ pay for up to 10 years’ service; 3 weeks’ pay for up to 20 years’ service; 4 weeks’ pay plus 1 week for each additional year for more than 20 years’ service. Maximum 28 weeks’ pay. Second layoff: 1 week’s pay for each year of service, maximum 27 weeks’ pay.
Safety shoes: $200 for CSA-approved safety footwear.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide 1 CCG-approved flotation coat (flame orange or red) or inflatable PFD (Mustang AirForce or equivalent) once every 2 years. 1 set of rain gear (yellow or orange), 1 pair rubber boots once every 3 years. $500 per year (previously $400) reimbursement for any working clothes.
