Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on May 23, 2017.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 1/4 days per month to start, 1 2/3 days per month after 2 years, 2 1/12 days per month after 7 years, 2 1/3 days per month after 12 years, 2 1/2 days per month after 17 years, 2 2/3 days per month after 21 years, 3 days per month after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 4 hours, double time thereafter. May be taken in lieu, maximum 15 days per year. Unused credits paid out in cash.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employees pay 50% for Northern Employers Benefit Services.
Sick leave: 1 1/4 days per month, maximum 20 days.
STD: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employees pay 50% of premiums.
LTD: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employees pay 50% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employees pay 50% of premiums.

Severance: 2 weeks per year for first 2 years’ service, 1 week per year for subsequent years.
Safety shoes: $200 per year for maintenance employees.
Mileage: $25 per day for maintenance employees.

Editor’s notes: Vacation travel assistance: $1,975 per year. Wellness reward: Employee who hasn’t used sick leave during year will have 3 days’ sick leave converted into 3 days’ vacation leave. Bilingualism: $1,500 when employee is required to speak English and Inuktitut. Housing allowance: $8,200 per year. Settlement allowance: $10,100 per year.
