Renewal agreement: Effective Aug. 9, 2016, to Aug. 8, 2019. Signed on Aug. 9, 2016.
Shift premium: $2 per hour for lead (fuelers), training, Mirabel fuelers.
Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days or 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 12 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
Meal allowance: $50 per day when travelling on company business.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25%.
Dental: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25%. Major restorative: 50% coverage, maximum $1,000 per year combined.
Vision: $300 every 24 months.
Paramedical: 80% co-insurance, maximum $1,000 per year.
Sick leave: Full-time: 20 hours per year (after 12 months’ service); 40 hours per year (after 24 months’ service). Part-time: 10 hours per year (after 12 months’ service); 20 hours per year (after 24 months’ service). Unused sick days will be paid out Dec. 31.
STD: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25%. 66 2/3% of weekly income, maximum 26 weeks.
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $40,000 coverage.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $40,000 coverage.
Pension: Employer will match employee contributions into RRSP, maximum 2% of salary.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, father, mother, spouse or common-law partner of the father or mother, children, children of the employee’s spouse or common-law partner, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, grandfather, grandmother, father, mother of the spouse or common-law partner, spouse or common-law partner of father, mother, any relative who resides with the employee). 3 days for death in extended family (spouse’s grandparent, brothers, sisters of spouse, nephew, niece). 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, godparents. Additional 10 days without pay if funeral is outside Canada or a significant distance away.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Probationary period: 150 days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.

Uniforms/clothing: Full-time: 4 shirts, 4 pants, 2 shorts, winter/thermal coveralls (once every 2 years), 3-in-1 jacket (once every 2 years), rain suit (once every 2 years), 4 summer gloves, 4 winter gloves, safety eyewear, safety vest, regular ear protectors.
