Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2015, to June 30, 2018. Signed on March 22, 2016.
Wage adjustments:
Effective July 1, 2017: 1%

Vacations with pay: 4% vacation pay to start, 6% after 5 years and 8% after 10 years.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for employee’s spouse, father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild, father-in-law, mother-in-law, stepfather, stepmother or stepchild.
Seniority – recall rights: 18 months.
Call-in pay: Regular rate of pay for all hours worked except where the callback work places the employee in an overtime status by exceeding the weekly hourly rate.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer provides safety equipment, including gloves and safety glasses, as required. Employees working wheelchair bus units will be provided with rain wear.

Bus driver: $12.68 rising in 1 step to $13.55
Editor’s notes: Jury duty: The employer pays the difference between the payment received from the court and the employee’s regular rate of pay. Children: Drivers can carry their own children on the bus provided there is sufficient room onboard and the child adheres to the guidelines set for all passengers. An A.C.S.A.-approved car seat must be used at all times for children under the age of 3. Hydro allowance: A hydro allowance will be paid to employees who plug their buses in overnight. $21 per month. $21.21 effective Nov. 1, 2016. $21.42 effective Nov. 1, 2017 (previously $19.57). Bus wash: 1 paid hour. Summer startup meeting: Paid two-and-one-half times hourly service rate. Dry run: 1 paid day per year. If the driver’s route is changed and a dry run is necessary to become familiar with the route, the driver will be paid at their regular hourly rate.
