Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2018. Signed on March 26, 2018.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 9 years, 5 weeks after 16 years, 6 weeks after 21 years, 7 weeks after 26 years. Employee may bank maximum 1 week of unused vacation from one year to next.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after regular hours.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums. $500 per year for health spending account. $500 per year for wellness account.
Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Sick leave: 12 days per year.
LTD: Employer pays 40% of premiums, employee pays 60% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Employees will receive 3% of gross earnings through contributions by employer into RRSP.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of son, daughter, sister, brother, mother, spouse, father, fiancé. 3 days for death of grandparent, legal guardian, daughter-in-law, father-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt, uncle, son-in-law, sister-in-law, niece, grandchild, brother-in-law, nephew. 1 day for death of person with whom employee had special relationship. Further 5 days without pay in case of responsibilities occasioned by death of relative. 1 day to be pallbearer at funeral. Additional 3 days without pay for travel.
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay at overtime rates.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Mileage: $0.50 per kilometre for association-approved travel.
