Renewal agreement: Effective Oct. 1, 2015, to Sept. 30, 2020. Signed on Nov. 15, 2015.
Wage adjustments:
Effective Oct. 1, 2015: 2%
Effective Oct. 1, 2016: 2.25%
Effective Oct. 1, 2017: 2.25%
Effective Oct. 1, 2018: 2.5%
Effective Oct. 1, 2019: 2.5%
Shift premium: $1 per hour for lead hands. $1 per hour for all hours worked during the afternoon shift.
Paid holidays: 10 days and 2 personal days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks to start, 3 weeks at 6% of gross earnings after 5 years, 3 weeks at 8% of gross earnings after 8 years and 4 weeks at 10% of gross earnings after 10 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked beyond 9 hours per day. Time and one-half for all hours worked on Saturday or Sunday. Overtime for driver is assigned on a rotating basis, in reverse order of seniority.
Medical benefits: $500 every 3 years for hearing aids. $250 per year for orthopaedic shoes and devices.
Dental: 100% basic coverage. 50% major restorative coverage to a maximum of $1,500 per year. 50% orthodontic coverage to a $2,500 lifetime maximum.
Vision: $75 every 2 years for eye examinations. $350 every 2 year for lenses, frames or contact lenses.
STD: 6-day qualifying period at 60% of earnings to a maximum of 26 weeks.
LTD: 60% benefit for a 26-week elimination period.
AD&D: 2 times annual earnings.
Life insurance: 2 times annual earnings to a maximum of $150,000. $10,000 for spouses and $5,000 for children.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for employee’s father, mother, brother, sister, spouse, child, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, stepparent, stepchild, grandparent or grandchild.
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year.
Probationary period: 45 days worked.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay per year of service, prorated for a partial year.
Safety shoes: $175 per employees in the first pay period in May and October of each year. The wearing of safety boots and high-visibility safety vests is mandatory.
Uniforms/clothing: $450 per year. Mechanics will receive an additional $100. The employer will supply and clean overalls for mechanics as necessary.
Tool allowance: $700 per year for mechanics.
