Renewal agreement: Effective Dec. 7, 2017, to June 30, 2020. Signed on Jan. 2, 2018.
Shift premium: $0.25 per hour for employees dispatched on trips in and out of area 2, or working in area 2.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 8 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 16 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 20 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week or on Sunday.
Medical benefits: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for health and welfare plan similar to Prairie Teamsters Health and Welfare Plan.
Sick leave: 3 days per year.
Pension: Employer will contribute $4.65 per hour (previously $1.20 per hour) per employee per week to General Teamsters, Local 362 Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sons, daughters, sisters, stepsons, stepdaughters, brothers, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandfather, grandmother, grandchild, brother-in-law, sister-in-law. Stepfather, stepmother will be recognized provided stepparent had status of employee’s father or mother). 1 additional day if travelling more than 400 kilometres away.
Seniority – recall rights: 180 calendar days (previously 6 months).
Probationary period: 90 days.

Editor’s notes: Industry fund: Employer will contribute $0.05 per hour — maximum 44 hours per week — per employee, dependent contractor covered by collective agreement to Teamsters Union/Industry Advancement Fund. Medical examinations: For drivers who have completed 1 or more years of employment and who are required to take government physical or medical examinations for vehicle operator’s license, employer will reimburse driver full cost of examination. Wash-rate: Edmonton-based employees, in classifications earning more than $30 per hour, will be paid $30 per hour for time spent washing tractor units. Training rate: Employees in classifications earning more than $30 per hour will be paid $30 per hour for orientations performed anywhere other than client’s job site, training, and safety meetings. Subsistence allowance: $150 per night (previously $200 per night) for employee who remains away from place of domicile. $65 per night for employee who remains away from place of domicile and employer supplies lodging.
