Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 2.05%

Shift premium: $0.45 per hour to employees for work on regular or special tour of duty in which majority of hours (4 or more hours) are worked after 3 p.m. exclusive of overtime. $0.55 per hour to employees for work on regular or special tour of duty in which majority of hours (4 or more hours) are worked after 9 p.m. exclusive of overtime. $1 per hour for all employees of communication centre who train other employees. 
Paid holidays: 12 days, plus 1 floating holiday. 
Vacations with pay: 5/6 of 1 day per month to start, 10 days after 1 year, 15 days after 3 years, 20 days after 10 years, 25 days after 15 years, 26 days after 20 years, 27 days after 21 years, 28 days after 22 years, 30 days after 23 years, 35 days after 27 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work in excess of normal tour of duty. May be taken as time off in lieu. May be banked, maximum 12 straight-time hours. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for OHIP coverage. 
Dental: Employer pays 90.25% of premiums, employee pays 9.75% of premiums. 
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 60% of monthly salary, maximum $4,000 per month.
AD&D: Employer pays $6 per month toward premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays $34.65 per month toward premiums. 
Pension: Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System.
Bereavement leave: 4 days for death of relative (wife, husband, common-law spouse, child, father, mother, brother, sister, father-in-law, mother-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparents, grandchild, person standing in loco-parentis). 1 day for death of grandparent of employee’s spouse. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours’ pay at time and one-half. 
Probationary period: 3 months; 12 months for employees in communications centre.
Uniforms/clothing: Each employee working in transport, property room, court security, summons servers, identification sections will be supplied with uniform and will be paid $350 per year. 
Mileage: $0.42 per kilometre for travel outside City of Ottawa.

Meal reimbursements: When employee works outside 100-kilometre radius of 474 Elgin Street police station, employee will be reimbursed for meals during time away (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
