Wage adjustments:
Effective Dec. 31, 2015: 1.75% lump sum
Effective Jan 1, 2016: 1.75% wage increase
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 1.75% wage increase
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2% wage increase
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 2% wage increase
Shift premium: 70¢ per hour for employees whose regularly assigned shifts start between 2 p.m. and 9:59 p.m. 85¢ per hour for employees whose regularly assigned shifts start between 10 p.m. and 5:59 a.m. 25¢ per hour for regular work done on Saturday or Sunday. $25 per day for employees required to work at any site north of Moosonee.
Paid holidays: 9 days and 3 floater holidays.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year of service, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 15 years and 6 weeks after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked beyond 8 per day or 40 per week.
Meal allowance: Employees away from headquarters are entitled to $7 for breakfast, $10 for lunch and $21 for supper.
STD: Upon completion of 7 consecutive incidental absences, employees are eligible for 8 weeks paid at 100% of base salary followed by 18 weeks paid at 80% of base salary for a total of 26 weeks.
LTD: Employer pays entire cost of Select Long Term Disability Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s spouse, child or parent. 2 days for employee’s grandparent, spouse’s grandparent, grandchild, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, stepparent, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, stepchild or any relative residing with the employee.
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year.
