Wage hikes, improved leave part of deal
Workers at the University of Winnipeg Students' Association, Local 153 ratified a new five-year collective agreement April 11.
Highlights include wage increases in each year of the agreement, as well as improvements to parental and family responsibility leave and dental benefits, said the union.
The union will now meet with the employer to finalize and sign the contract for distribution to members.
