Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1, 2017, to Jan. 28, 2023. Signed on Sept. 1, 2017.
Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for crew chiefs. $1.75 per hour for shop certification authority 1800 (SCA 1800). Employee must obtain SCA-1800 certification skill to be eligible for SCA-1800 status. $1 per hour for employee who maintains electrical certificate. $0.65 for all hours worked on second shift. $0.75 for all hours worked on third shift.
Paid holidays: 9 days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% to start, 3 weeks or 6% after 6 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 15 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work outside of scheduled shift hours or for all work on Saturday. Double time for all work on Sunday (if employee worked on Saturday, otherwise time and one-half). Maximum 16 hours of overtime per pay period. May be banked, maximum 40 hours.
Medical benefits: Employer will continue current LM Canada benefits plan which includes: health plan; dental plan; basic life insurance; dependent life insurance; optional life insurance: basic AD&D; voluntary AD&D insurance; employee assistance program; workplace illness/injury protection; adoption assistance; wedding leave; compassionate-care leave; health and fitness fee reimbursement program; membership fees and dues; discount programs).
STD: Minimum 70% of base pay, maximum 25 weeks.
Pension: LM Canada Retirement Savings Plan. Employer will match employee contributions, maximum 4% (maximum 5% after 5 years of service), into DPSP (deferred profit-sharing plan). Employee must make minimum 4%, maximum 20% into RRSP (subject to CRA limits).
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (parents, stepparents, individual who stood in place of parent to employee when employee was child, current spouse or current same-sex domestic partner, children, stepchildren (and current spouses), siblings, stepsiblings, half-siblings, (and current spouses), grandparents, stepgrandparents, grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, current spouse’s or current same-sex domestic partner’s parents (same definition as employee’s parents), grandparents, stepgrandparents, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, current spouse’s or current same-sex domestic partner’s siblings, stepsiblings, half siblings, (and current spouses).

Call-in pay: Applicable overtime rate for all additional hours actually worked per 24-hour period or 4 hours’ pay at hourly rate, whichever is greater.
Probationary period: 120 days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 3 years.
