Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2017, to March 31, 2019. Ratified on May 16, 2018. Signed on May 23, 2018.
Wage adjustments:

Paid holidays: 12 days, plus 1 floating Christmas holiday.
Vacations with pay: 1 1/4 days per month to start, 15 days after 1 year, 20 days after 5 years, 25 days after 10 years. May be carried over, maximum 1 year.
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 2 hours, double time thereafter. Double time for work on day of rest. May be taken as time off in lieu. Must be taken within 12 months or will be paid out in cash.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. $800 per year (previously $500 per year) for health benefits spending account.
Dental: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. 100% coverage for preventative, basic dental procedures. 50% coverage for major dental procedures. Maximum $3,000 per year per person. 50% coverage for orthodontics. Lifetime maximum $3,000 per person.
Vision: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. $250 in any 12-month period for persons younger than 18; or in any 24-month period for persons 18 and older. Eye examinations: Maximum $100 in any 12-month period for persons younger than 18 or in any 24-month period for persons 18 and older.
Sick leave: 10 work days or 70 work hours after 1 year of service. May be carried forward into following year.
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 60% of monthly salary, maximum $4,050 per month.
Life insurance: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums for coverage of 2-times annual salary, maximum $200,000.
Pension: Employer will contribute 7% (previously 6%), employee will contribute 5% into RSP.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (any of following relations of employee or employee’s spouse or benefit-partner: parents, guardian, parent-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, son, daughter, stepchild, brother, sister or husband or wife of any of above). 1 day for death of relative or person known to employee and not already covered above for purposes of attending funeral. 2 additional days for travel more than 500 kilometres 1-way.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Mileage: $0.50 per kilometre plus $500 per year for employee using own vehicle on employer business.
