Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 28, 2017, to Jan. 27, 2022. Signed on Jan. 28, 2017.
Shift premium: 8% of base rate for employees whose responsibilities are deemed to be significantly different from those of other employees in same classification. $1.30 per hour (previously $0.84 per hour) for employee who is appointed to role of shift engineer. $1.30 per hour (previously $0.84 per hour) for employee who is engaged in work of fire captain. $0.90 per hour for work performed between 3:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. $1.30 per hour for work between 11:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. $1 per hour for each hour worked on Sunday between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 week to start, 2 weeks after 6 months, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years, 6 weeks after 30 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 4 hours of overtime, double time thereafter. Time and one-half for all work on regularly assigned day of rest, double time after 4 hours of work. 
Meal allowance: Maximum $10.
STD: Maximum 26 weeks coverage. After 24-hour waiting period: 85% of salary for first 6 weeks; 70% of salary for next 20 weeks. 
Severance: 1 week’s pay for each of first 15 years of seniority, plus 2 weeks’ pay for each year of seniority after 15 years. Maximum 52 weeks’ pay. 
Safety shoes: $130 for first pair purchased in each; lesser of cost per pair or $75 for up to 1 subsequent pair purchased in each year.
