Wage adjustments:
Effective August 2018: $200

Effective Sept. 1, 2018: 1% (contingent upon increase to student grant of 1% or more and no other loss of associated funding to district, impacting instructional envelope)
Effective Sept. 1, 2019: 2% (contingent upon increase to student grant of 2% or more and no other loss of associated funding to district, impacting instructional envelope)
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 12-month employees: 15 days to start, 20 days after 8 years, 25 days after 14 years, 30 days after 19 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked that exceed weekly hours, after 8 hours per day, on Saturday or Sunday, on holidays. May be banked and taken as time off in lieu but will be paid out each June.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan and for Alberta School Employees’ Benefit Plan, Supplementary Extended Health Care Benefits Plan 1. Employer will contribute 1% of each eligible employee’s annual regular employment earnings, minimum $50 per month (previously $40 per month), to health-care spending account, maximum contribution of $600 per year (previously $540 per year).
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for ASEBP Dental Plan 3
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Alberta School Employees’ Benefit Plan, Vision Care Plan 3.
Sick leave: 2 days per month, maximum 90 days per year.
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for plan D of Alberta School Employees’ Benefit Plan.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Plan 2.

Pension: Employer will provide for participation in Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: Granting of leave, number of days allowed will be at discretion of employer for death of son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, spouse, child, grandchild, parent, brother, sister, grandparent, parents of spouse, other relative who is member of employee’s household. Maximum 2 days for anyone not previously mentioned.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Probationary period: 6 months, exclusive of any breaks.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Uniforms/clothing: $50 per year or maximum $100 every 2 years for bathing suit when employee is required to perform certain responsibilities in swimming pool.
