Renewal agreement: Effective June 14, 2017, to Aug. 4, 2018. Signed on June 14, 2017.
Shift premium: $2 per hour for all time worked, including overtime hours, between 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. (does not apply to FR, LI and SC groups). $2 per hour for all time worked, including overtime hours, for all hours worked on Saturday or Sunday (does not apply to FR, LI and SC groups). $3.50 per day when packaging and labelling dangerous goods for shipping, maximum $75 per month.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: For employees who work 40 hours per week: 10 hours per month to start, 13.6 hours per month after 8 years, 14.72 hours per month after 16 years, 15.36 hours per month after 17 years, 16.72 hours per month after 18 years, 18 hours per month after 27 years, 20 hours after 28 years. For employees who work 37.5 hours per week: 9.375 hours per month to start, 12.5 hours per month after 8 years, 13.75 hours per month after 16 years, 14.4 hours per month after 17 years, 15.63 hours per month after 18 years, 16.88 hours per month after 27 years, 18.75 hours after 28 years. Employees with more than 2 years’ service will receive a 1-time of 40 or 37.5 hours on the first month following the second anniversary of hire.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all overtime hours (does not apply to FR, LI and SC groups). Double time when working on scheduled days off.
Meal allowance: $10 when working 3 hours of overtime, provided free meal not available. Additional $10 when working more than 4 hours of overtime.
Sick leave: 10 or 9.38 hours per month.
Bereavement leave: 7 days for death in immediate family. Additional 3 days for travel if needed. 1 day for death of brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparents of spouse.
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours’ pay at overtime rate, maximum 8 hours (does not apply to LI group).
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
