Renewal agreement: Effective June 14, 2015, to Nov. 30, 2018. Signed on June 14, 2015.
Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 2.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 2.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2.5%
Shift premium: $1 per hour for time worked on evening or night shifts.
Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: 4% vacation pay to start, 2 weeks after 1 year and 3 weeks after 7 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked beyond 8 hours per day. Time and one-half for all hours worked on
Saturday. Double time for all hours worked on Sunday.
Meal allowance: $70 when travel for work requires an overnight stay.
Life insurance: Employer contributes 45% of cost of Group Insurance Plan.
Pension: Employer pays 50% of premiums. Benefit equal to 3% of wages after 235 days worked.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s spouse, child, father, mother or grandchild. 2 days for employee’s brother, sister, father-in-law or mother-in-law. 1 day for employee’s grandparent. 1 unpaid day for employee’s uncle, aunt, brother-in-law or sister-in-law. 1 additional day for travel outside the province.
Probationary period: 90 days.
Tool allowance: All power tools supplied by the employer.
Mileage: 50¢ per km.
