Wage adjustments:
Effective Feb. 1, 2017: 1.5%
Effective Feb. 1, 2018: 2%
Shift premium: Afternoon 60 cents per hour. Night 70 cents per hour. Lead hand premium: $2.03 per hour.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 17 years, 6 weeks after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for workers on 10 hours, 4 days per week shift; on the 5th day, double time for work on the 6th day. Time and one-half for workers on 5 hours, 5 days per week shift; on the 6th day, double time for work on subsequent days. Double time for workers on 4 12-hour shifts; on the 5th day, double time for any hours worked after the 12th straight hour. Time and one-half for any hours worked after the 8th straight hour, double time for any hours worked after the 11th straight hour. Time and one- half for any hours worked in excess of 10 hours per day, double time for any hours worked in excess of 13 hours per day.
Meal allowance: $12 for more than 2 hours of overtime.
Medical benefits: 100% semi-private coverage. Costco drug coverage 100% or 90% elsewhere.
Dental: 100% coverage after $25 deductible. $2,500 maximum per year. 50-50 coinsurance for orthodontic with lifetime maximum of $1,500. 60-40 coinsurance for major restorative with lifetime maximum of $5,000.
Vision: $275 every 24 months.
Weekly indemnity: 70% of earnings, maximum $750 per week.
Sick leave: 4 hours per month each Jan. 1 into bank. Unused hours paid 100% each Jan. 15, 66 2/3% for each hour used. Unused hours converted to vacation days next year, to a maximum of 48 hours.
AD&D: $25,000 per employee. $5,000 per spouse or child.
Life insurance: $25,000.
Pension: Teamster Canada Pension Trust Fund. Payments made by employer 6.25% effective Feb. 1, 2016, increasing to 6.5% effective Feb. 1, 2017.
