Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2014, to Dec. 31, 2016. Signed on Jan. 14, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2014: 2% 
Effective Jan. 1, 2015: 2%
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 2%
Shift premium: Maintenance standby: $2 per hour. Shift premium: $1.05 per hour, for hours worked between 3 p.m. and 7 a.m. Weekend premium: $0.40 per hour.
Paid holidays: 11 days and 1 floater day. 
Vacations with pay: 10 days to start, 15 days after 3 years, 20 days after 8 years, 30 days after 25 years, one extra day of salary for each year after 26 years, maximum 5 days’ pay. Employee may carry over 10 days per year.
Overtime: Time and one-half after 7.5 hours per day, 75 hours per pay period. Time and one-half for working on third consecutive weekend. Time and one-half for work on a holiday.
Medical benefits: 100% premiums paid by employer.
Dental: 100% premiums paid by employer for Blue Cross Comprehensive Dental Plan.
Vision: $350 every 2 years, maximum $50 for eye exams.
Paramedical: Chiropractic care: $400 per year maximum.
Sick leave: 12 days per year.
STD: 75% pay, maximum 85 days.
LTD: 60% pay, maximum $5,000 per month, up to age 65. 
AD&D: 100% premiums paid by employer.
Life insurance: 100% premiums paid by employer for group life plan, payout 2 times salary. 
Pension: Ontario Municipal Employee’s Retirement System.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (parent, wife, husband, common-law spouse, brother, sister, child). 3 days for death in other family (niece, nephew, godchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandparent, spouse’s grandparent, grandchild, fiance). 1 day for death of aunt, uncle. 1 day for death of relative living in the same household or to be a pallbearer. 7 days’ time off without pay for death of a friend.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours at time and one-half.
Probationary period: 3 months for full-time employees, 487.5 hours for part-time employees. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Safety shoes: $100 per year.
Mileage: Lanark County employee’s mileage allowance.

Support services aide/food service aide: $20.70 rising 2 steps to $21.74 5%
Certified food service aide: $21.53 rising 2 steps to $22.58
seamstress/cook’s helper: $21.50 rising 2 steps to $22.68
Maintenance: $22.98 rising 2 steps to $24.42
Cook 1: $23.51 rising 2 steps to $24.90
Health care aide: $22.53 rising 2 steps to $23.81
Recreation level 1 restorative care: $23.40 rising 2 steps to $24.97
Life enrichment team leader: $25.28 rising 2 steps to $26.89
Registered practical nurse: $27.07 rising 3 steps to $28.36
Editor’s notes: Time switch-over: At the time of change from standard time to daylight savings time or daylight savings time to standard time, employees are paid 7.5 hours in the spring, and straight time for all hours worked in the fall. Disease protocol: Any requirement in relation to a communicable disease surveillance protocol, physician report forms or certificates shall be paid by the employer.
