Wage adjustments:
Effective upon signing: 2%
Effective May 1, 2018: 1%
Effective May 1, 2019: 1%

Shift premium: 15% if employer puts on shifts, other than regular day shift. $1.75 per hour for employees working higher than 40 feet on swing stage, scaffold, ladder, bosun chair or temporary working platform (excluding temporary working platforms that are in good condition, solidly constructed, rigidly fixed to structure by mechanical means and equipped with mesh fencing).
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 10% per paycheque.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after regular hours. Double time for work on holidays, Sundays. Double time for all work after regular hours on heavy industrial, hydro and thermal power developments, newsprint mills, mines, oil refineries, offshore and related development.
Meal allowance: Hot meal will be provided when more than 2 hours are worked over and above normal shift on each project being worked.
Medical benefits: Employee contributes $2.25 per hour per paycheque.
Pension: Employee contributes $6.35 per hour (previously $5.25 per hour) per paycheque.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (parents, spouse, common-law partner as per provincial statutes, children, brothers, sisters, stepbrothers, stepsisters, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandchildren, grandparents, stepchild, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law).
Uniforms/clothing: On all heavy-industrial jobs, employer will supply weather-appropriate coveralls, gloves, hard hats, liners, goggles or any additionally necessary work wear.
Tool allowance: Employer will provide lock-fast facilities for storage of personal tools used by workers when tools are not in use. Employer will replace worker’s personal tools when destroyed by fire, lost through theft by forced entry.
Mileage: $0.68 per kilometre.
