Renewal agreement: Effective June 1, 2017, to May 31, 2021. Signed on July 6, 2017.
Shift premium: $0.50 per hour for all work between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Paid holidays: 10 days, plus additional floating holiday to be taken between Dec. 24 and Jan. 7 of each year.
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days or 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 20 years. After 20 years of service, 1 additional week off. After 30 years of service, 1 additional week off.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 40 hours per week.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 40% of premiums, employee pays 60% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 40% of premiums, employee pays 60% of premiums for 100% basic coverage, 50% major coverage, maximum $1,500 per person, per year.
Sick leave: 3 days, maximum 30 hours per year.
LTD: Employer pays 40% of premiums, employee pays 60% of premiums for 70% of first $2,500 monthly earnings (previously 60% of first $4,000 monthly earnings), plus 50% of monthly earnings, maximum $10,000 (previously maximum $6,000). Payable after 119 days.
AD&D: Employer pays 40% of premiums, employee pays 60% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 40% of premiums, employee pays 60% of premiums for 1 times annual earnings rounded to next highest $1,000.
Pension: Employer contributes 6%, employee contributes 6% to National Automobile, Aerospace, Transportation and General Workers Members’ Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of father, stepfather, mother, stepmother, spouse, son, stepson, daughter, stepdaughter, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparents, grandchild. Additional 4 days if required for travel more than 300 miles to attend funeral.
Seniority – recall rights: 9 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at time and one-half.
Probationary period: Minimum 40 shifts.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Safety shoes: $100 per year (previously $75 per year). May be carried over, maximum $200 (previously $150).
