Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2017, to April 30, 2019. Signed on June 21, 2017.
Shift premium: Captain will receive $715 for each day on extended tour. First officer will receive $580 for each day on extended tour. Pilot who works Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day, will be paid $300 per day for each of day worked.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 1.25 days per month or 4% to start, 15 days or 4% after 1 year, 15 days or 6% after 5 years, 20 days or 8% after 9 years, 25 days or 10% after 12 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half.
Medical benefits: CHC Medical Plan.
Vision: $250 every 2 years.
Sick leave: 10 days per year, 15 days after 15 years’ service.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex spouse, son, daughter, parent, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandchild, grandparent, sister, brother, relative residing at pilot’s home).
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months.
Probationary period: 100 nights on working base.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months for disciplinary records involving safety matters.
Severance: The greater of: notice or pay in lieu of notice and severance under Canada Labour Code or sum equal to payment in lieu of 90 days’ notice.
