Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2015, to April 30, 2019. Signed on May 11, 2015.
Wage adjustments:
Effective May 1, 2015: 2.5%
Effective 2016: lump sum payment equal to 2% of total earnings in 2015
Effective May 1, 2017: 2%
Effective May 1, 2018: 2%
Shift premium: $11 per hour for work done on Sunday by Sunday-start flex work employees.
Paid holidays: 7 days plus Christmas holiday.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years and 5 weeks after 15 years. 6 weeks after 20 years, as previously available to employees, was eliminated.
Uniforms/clothing: $300 per year. Previously $200.
Sample rates of pay (current, after 2% increase):
City/highway drivers: $25.96 per hour
Maintenance/skilled workers: $29.57
Editor’s notes: Cost of living allowance: Employees will be paid an amount equal to 10¢ per hour or 25¢ per mile for every 1% increase in the CPI, 1992=100, triggered at 3%. Delays: Daily and custom delays in excess of 45 minutes will be compensated at driver’s regular hourly rate of pay. Personal day: 1 paid personal holiday per year.
