Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: $0.30 per hour

Shift premium: Dual-provincial licenses in class B, combined with millwright or electrician or millwright and electrical licence combination: $2 per hour. Lead hand maintenance employees who are working on the continental shift: $2 per hour. $0.25 per hour for work between 2 p.m. and 2 a.m.
Paid holidays: 10 days. Employees will work 4 hours on day before Christmas and New Year’s. Additional 2 days off.
Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 15 years. Vacation bonus: 5 to 9 years, $50 per week; 10 to 14 years, $100 per week; 15 to 19 years, $150 per week; 20 years or more $200 per week.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 8 hours per day or on Saturdays. Double time for all hours worked on Sunday.
Medical benefits: Employee pays $3 per week for single coverage, $6 per week for family coverage.
Dental: $1,500 coverage per family member per year. $1,000 lifetime maximum for dentures, replacing old dentures, relining, rebasing, denture repairs, at 60% coverage. $1,500 lifetime maximum for orthodontic coverage at 50% coverage. $1,000 lifetime maximum coverage for crowns, bridges at 60% coverage.
Vision: $700 per family, or $300 for single per 2 years. 1 eye exam every 2 years.
Paramedical: Employer will pay unpaid deductible of chiropractic visits not covered by OHIP. $325 per year for certified massage therapist.
Weekly indemnity: 65% coverage, maximum $485 per week.
LTD: 70% of monthly income, maximum $1,550, payable after 120 days.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums, maximum $60,000 coverage.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums, (1 times annual salary) maximum $60,000 coverage.
Pension: Cargill Defined Contribution Pension Plan. Employer will contribute maximum $30 per week to pension fund.
Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (spouse, children, stepchildren, parents, stepparents). 3 days for death in extended family (sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandchildren). 1 day for death in other family (son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent, grandparent-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law).
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 90 days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year.
Safety shoes: $90 per year.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply: outer-work clothing, oilskins, aprons, maintenance coveralls. Freezer suits will be provided for: freezer-person, freezer-helper, positioning and retrieving skids, order picker, full-time barn helpers, full-time outside workers.
Tool allowance: Employer will supply: knives, steels, wet stones, meat-trimmer hooks, scabbards, mesh gloves, arm guards, hearing protection, ear muffs (where required), helmets. $450 per year reimbursement for maintenance employees, may be carried forward into following year.
