Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2017. Signed on July 24, 2016.
Paid holidays: 13 days and Christmas week (Dec. 27 to Dec. 31).
Vacations with pay: 15 days or 6% to start, 20 days or 8% after 2 years, 25 days or 10% after 4 years, 30 days or 12% after 15 years, 35 days or 14% after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 7 hours per day or 70 hours biweekly or 7 3/4 hours per day or 140 hours over a 4-week period. Time earned must be banked and taken as time off, maximum bank of 35 hours.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Alberta Health Care Insurance. Health and wellness benefit: $700 per year.
Sick leave: 2 days per month, maximum 120 days.
STD: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Employer will pay bi-weekly 7% in lieu of RRSP contributions.
Bereavement leave: 10 days for death of mother, father, sister, brother, dependent children, (biological, adopted, stepchild, foster-child), spouse, cohabiting partner, same-sex partner, mother-in-law, father-in-law.
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year.
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours’ pay at overtime rate.
Probationary period: 90 days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: 4 weeks after 6 months service. Additional 1 week for each year of service after 1 year, maximum 10 weeks.
Mileage: $0.53 per kilometre when working away from home office.

Signing bonus: $250 upon ratification

Editor’s notes: Travel accommodation, meals: For each day when accommodation is required, accommodation expense will be reimbursed. Additional $20 per day when travelling outside Calgary. Breakfast allowance: $15. Lunch allowance: $25. Supper allowance: $35. Special leaves: 1 day off with pay to be present at birth or adoption of employee’s child or employee’s grandchild. 1 day off with pay per year for moving household effects. 1 day off with pay for birthday. 1 day off with pay for formal hearing to become Canadian citizen. 3 floater days off with pay per year.
