Renewal agreement: Effective June 26, 2018, to June 25, 2022. Signed on June 26, 2018.
Shift premium: $0.75 per hour (previously $0.60 per hour) for work on any shift that commences between 4 p.m. and 4 a.m. Effective June 26, 2021: $1 per hour. $1 per hour for all-off crew members. $1.50 per hour for any employees who trains new employees for any positions covered under agreement.
Paid holidays: 10 days, plus 1 personal holiday.
Vacations with pay: Prorated, maximum 2 weeks to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 11 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 18 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 40 hours per week or 80 hours over 2-week period. Time and one-half for all work on holiday. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for group insurance plan. 
Vision: $300 every 2 years (previously $200 every 2 years), plus $80 for eye exam every 2 years. Dependent children will be entitled to benefit each year.
Sick leave: 40 hours per year. Unused leave will be paid out by mid-December of each year.
Pension: Employees will be covered under Brink’s Canada pension plan (DB plan for those already in it, DC plan for new employees as of date of ratification). Employer will match employee contributions into DC plan, maximum 5%.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, spouse, same-sex spouse, common-law spouse, children, legal guardians, brother, sister, stepmother, stepfather, stepchildren, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild. 1 additional day for employees who leave province. 1 day for death of brother-in-law, sister-in-law, uncle, aunt.
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months for employees who are transferred out of bargaining unit but remain in employ of employer in different classification; 24 months if on layoff.
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year.
Safety shoes: $150 every 2 years (previously $100 every 2 years). Boots must be black, CSA-approved, with steel toes and in compliance with Brink’s uniform and appearance policy.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will furnish and pay for uniforms. All uniform items, including shirts, will be replaced on a 1-for-1 exchange basis as required.

Guard technicians: $20.69 rising 3 steps to $22.19

Chief money-room clerk: $20.21 rising 3 steps to $21.71

Part-time employees
PT assistant cashier: $20.18 rising 3 steps to $21.68
PT messenger/crew chief: $20.04 rising 3 steps to $21.54

PT vault clerk: $17.51 rising 3 steps to $19.01

Lump sum: $1,250 to full-time employees, $750 to part-time employees, 4 weeks after ratification.
Editor’s notes: On-call: $1.75 per hour for each weekday shift, $2 per hour for each weekend shift. Bullet-resistant vests: Employer will reimburse employees 50% of cost of new approved bullet-resistant vest, maximum $500, for all employees who work on road. Employees assigned to work all-off will be provided with bullet-resistant vest at no cost. Out-of-town pay: $50 per overnight stay for meal expenses. Employees will be provided with clean, comfortable lodging (single accommodation). $20 meal allowance for employees on scheduled or unscheduled out-of-town runs of 10 hours’ duration with no overnight stay. Required passes: Employees’ ATC, guard/agent license, PAL, and required passes for airside at St. John’s International Airport will be paid for by employer.
