Shift premium: 10% for scheduled tours between midnight and 6 a.m. 10% for scheduled tours between 6 a.m. and midnight. Triple time for work on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve. Double time and one-half for work on Easter Sunday. Double time for all work on Mother’s Day. 10% for all work on Saturday. Double time for all work on towers at heights higher than 50 feet. $70 for each night at location that does not provide normal access to community, for example: drill ship, platform or floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO), survival facility or remote microwave/radio site. Triple time for all hours spent working below ground in underground mine. $15 taxi voucher when employee finishes work between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Paid holidays: 10 days, plus July 12 (Newfoundland and Labrador employees only), plus 2 floating holidays (1 floating holiday Newfoundland and Labrador employees).
Vacations with pay: 10 days to start, 15 days after 1 year, 20 days after 9 years, 25 days after 20 years, 30 days after 25 years. After of service, winter bonus is applicable when all or part of vacation is taken during winter-bonus period, between Jan. 5 and April 30 and between Oct. 15 and Dec. 20 of same vacation year.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all extra hours or work on scheduled days off. Double time for all work between midnight and 7 a.m.; between 7 a.m. and midnight on Sunday; after 4 hours of overtime; after 12 hours in 24-hour period. Time may be banked, maximum 80 hours.
Meal allowance: $15 when employee works more than 2 hours of overtime continuous with either beginning or end of scheduled tour.
Sick leave: 8 days per year.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse or common-law partner, father, mother, spouse and common-law partner of father or mother, children, children of spouse or common-law partner, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, grandfather, grandmother, father and mother of spouse or common-law partner, spouse or common-law partner of father or mother, any relative who resides with employee.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Severance: 3 weeks’ pay for each year of service, maximum 78 weeks’ pay.
Safety shoes: $400 every 2 years for line boots (for employees who regularly climb). $250 for safety boots every 2 years. $200 for safety shoes every two 2 years. $160 for rubber boots (line and splicing) every 2 years. Additional $40 for employees who justify need for fully waterproof protective footwear. Labrador employees will receive winter boots, special winter clothing required for work in Labrador environment.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply special clothing, which it deems necessary to be worn for safety or health or as protection for undue wear or damage.
Tool allowance: Employer will supply all tools.
