Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 15, 2016, to Jan. 14, 2019. Signed on March 15, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 15, 2016: 2%
Effective Jan. 15, 2017: 2%
Effective Jan. 15, 2018: 2%
Shift premium: Afternoon shift: $0.50 per hour. Graveyard shift: 8 hours pay for working 7 hours. Industrial first-aid premium (if required by WSIB): $0.75 per hour. Lead hand: 9% on top of regular rate. Charge hand: 14% on top of regular rate. Power engineers (fifth class): $0.75 per hour. Power engineers (fourth class): $1 per hour. Power engineers (third class): $2 per hour. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. When Christmas falls on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, Christmas Eve is a paid holiday. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 4 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 9 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 17 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked in excess of 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Double time for hours worked in excess of 11 hours per day, 48 hours per week. 
Meal allowance: $15 for work in excess of 2 hours of overtime. 
Medical benefits: 100% premiums paid by employer. 
Dental: 80% reimbursement for basic, 60% reimbursement for major, 50% reimbursement for orthodontic.
Vision: $400 every 24 months, every 12 months for children. Maximum $90 for eye examinations. 
LTD: 75% of monthly earnings, maximum $3,000 per month. 
AD&D: Effective Jan. 15, 2016: $80,000. Effective Jan. 15, 2017: $90,000. Effective Jan. 15, 2018: $100,000.
Life insurance: Effective Jan. 15, 2016: $80,000. Effective Jan. 15, 2017: $90,000. Effective Jan. 15, 2018: $100,000.
Pension: 8% of annual salary contributed to RRSP. Effective Jan. 15, 2017: 8.5%. Effective Jan. 15, 2018: 9.5%. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, stepchildren, stepparents, grandparents, grandparent-in-law, grandchildren).
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months for employees with less than 1 year of services, 12 months for employees with more than 1 year of service. 
Call-in pay: 2 hours’ minimum.
Probationary period: 45 days. 
Safety shoes: $170 per year. 
Tool allowance: Company pays for insurance against loss of employee’s tools to be used while on the job site.

After 600 hours: $17.32 rising 2 steps to $18.02

Level 3 (mold changer)
Start: $18.50 rising 2 steps to $19.25
After 600 hours: $19.60 rising 2 steps to $20.30

Editor’s notes: Education fund: $0.10 per hour from each employee. Cessation of work: Employees working in immediate proximity when a fatal accident occurs may refrain from working the balance of the shift.
