Wage adjustments:
Effective Feb. 1, 2016: 1.5%

Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for lead hand. 85¢ per hour for all time worked during the evening shift. 95¢ per hour for all time worked during the night shift. $3.50 per hour for time spent performing repairs or installations outside of the worksite. 65¢ per hour for door fitters and window fitters required to do welding work.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month worked to a maximum of 2 weeks to start, 2 weeks after 1 years, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years and 5 weeks after 23 years.
Meal allowance: $12 after 3 hours’ overtime.
Weekly indemnity: 4% of annual salary to start, 9.5% after 750 hours of continuous work, 11.5% after 5 years, 14% after 10 years and 16.5% after 23 years.
Life insurance: Employer pays 62% of premiums and employee pays 38%.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s spouse, child or spouse’s child. 3 days for employee’s father, mother, brother, sister, father-in-law, mother-in-law, stepfather, stepmother, stepbrother or stepsister. 1 day for employee’s brother-in-law, sister-in-law or grandparent. 1 unpaid day for employee’s son-in-law or daughter-in-law. 5 days available when the employee is required to travel more than 300 km.
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year to start, 18 months after 1 year and 2 years after 5 years.
Probationary period: 750 hours of work.
