Employer will match $1,500-per-year employee contribution to RRSP: CLAC
Employees of Gallant Trucking, based in Kamloops, B.C., ratified a new four-year collective agreement on Aug. 29.
The agreement provides employees with 50 per cent employer-paid CLAC Gold Plus benefits plan. In addition, the employer will match up to $1,500 per year of an employee’s voluntary RSP contributions, says the union.
The employees work as drivers, swampers, mechanics and dispatchers/foremen in Kamloops and the surrounding area.
The six employees are members of the Transport, Marine, Warehousing and Allied Workers Union, CLAC Local 66.
