Submissions to be accepted from Nov. 1 to Dec. 15, 2021
Saskatchewan is looking for public feedback as it reviews its Workers’ Compensation Act.
Employers, employees, injured workers and their families, professionals, organizations and other interested people are welcome to share their thoughts.
A government committee is looking “to ensure that legislation is current, and meeting the needs of the public," says Don Morgan, minister of labour relations and workplace safety. "We look forward to hearing from organizations and individuals."
In August, Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) also asked for input on how to improve workers’ comp services.
The committee will be accepting submissions from Nov. 1 to Dec. 15, 2021. The registration form for public input will be available at the start of November.
And in March, Yukon started looking to revise its rules around workers' safety and compensation.
